Acceptance

By creating an account or using Budgeteer, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

The service

Budgeteer helps you track budgets, transactions, fixed costs, saving goals, real estate, mortgages, net worth snapshots and related personal finance records.

Budgeteer currently focuses on euro budgeting and supports manual entry, KBC CSV import, JSON export and optional monthly email summaries.

Accounts

You create a Budgeteer account by signing in with Discord. Discord provides your username, avatar and email address.

You must keep access to your Discord account secure and use Budgeteer with accurate information.

Plans and billing

Budgeteer may offer Free and Pro plans. The pricing page shows current plan details and prices.

Paid plan language, billing mechanics, taxes, renewals, cancellations and refund rules will be confirmed before launch.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse Budgeteer or interfere with the service.

• Do not try to access accounts, systems or data that do not belong to you.
• Do not upload malicious files, attack the service or bypass security controls.
• Do not use Budgeteer for unlawful activity or to violate another person's rights.

Your data and export

You keep responsibility for the financial records you enter or import into Budgeteer.

Budgeteer lets you export your account data as JSON so you can keep a copy or move your records elsewhere.

Not financial advice

Budgeteer provides budgeting and tracking tools. It does not provide financial, investment, tax, legal or accounting advice.

You remain responsible for financial decisions you make from your Budgeteer data.

Availability

We aim to keep Budgeteer available, but maintenance, incidents or infrastructure issues may interrupt access.

We may change, suspend or remove features when needed to operate or improve the service.

Liability limitation

To the maximum extent allowed by law, Budgeteer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data or financial losses from using the service.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where law does not allow that limit.

Termination

You may stop using Budgeteer at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for other users or create legal exposure for Budgeteer.

Changes

We may update these terms before or after launch. We will update the date above and notify users when a material change affects their rights or obligations.

Governing law
